PAT works through a combination of Kinesiology and Acupressure techniques. The client holds a sample vial of the suspected trigger, and the Naturopath observes changes in muscle strength to identify any reactions. Once the trigger substances are determined, the treatment begins.

During a PAT session, the Naturopath uses a gentle massage tool called “Acustim” (Acupressure Stimulation) to stimulate specific acupressure points along the Du Mai meridian, which runs along the spine. This meridian is vital for moving and nourishing yang energy in the body and helps balance the organ systems responsible for allergy-related reactions. By stimulating these points, PAT encourages the body to respond more naturally and less defensively to the substances that previously caused reactions.

The development of PAT is rooted in more than 20 years of collaborative research, drawing insights from fields such as Acupuncture, Kinesiology, Naturopathy, and Acupressure.
